1930S WOODEN FRONT DOOR WITH SIDE WINDOWS. Excellent condition both sides, some chips to the wood at the top of the door & paint chips down the bottom, also a larger chip on the inside- see photos 8/9/10. The paint is peeling in places, so would need a sand down/ re-paint or you could strip down to the original timber wood-grain and just varnish the door. Comes complete with original letter box. Door is not rotted, bowed or warped at all and is completely straight. Each side window is: Height 98cm, Width: 37.5cm. Original stained leaded glass which is still strong. There are two very small cracks to the stained glass on the main door- see last photo. There are 3 cracks to the distorted side window panes- see photo 11. Solid wooden timber door throughout and is heavy. Does not come complete with frame, so you would need to get a carpenter to make one, or use your current frame if it fits! Ideal for anyone looking for a period door with plenty of character, they dont make them like they used to!
